Why 2016 Is Going To Be Great!

I won't lie, the first month of 2016 has been tough. In more ways than one, but it's made me more determined that ever to make 2016 the best year yet!
I've a number of things I'm already looking forward to this year. So essentially I'm writing this post not only has something for me to look back at when I find things beginning to get hard. But it's also for you, I've always found that writing things down makes everything seem so much more real and therefore make hard times so much easier to pull through from.
In chronological order: firstly it's not only 6 days until I'm back home to Kent for a week. I feel like it's not long since I left home after Christmas, but this semester has already proved it's going to be tough, and I'm really looking forward to going home for a week off doing absolutely nothing with my parents and younger sister.
Secondly in June my younger sister is turning 18, and at the moment I think I might be more excited than she is, but I've gotten the best present idea that I know she'll love, because that little one means a lot more to me than she'll ever know.

Thirdly at the end of July, me, my parents and my sister are off to Mauritius for our last family holiday as the 4 of us. These are times that I will miss so much, some of my best memories with my family have been whilst on holiday and I've been incredibly lucky to have jetted off to some of the destinations that I have and for that I am eternally grateful to my parents. However next year will hopefully see me in my first full-time graduate job (which sounds very scary) and potentially looking to 'properly' move out of my parents house.
Finally, in October I will be turning 21! I can't quite believe I'm no longer a teenager, feels like only yesterday I was celebrating all the other milestones such as 13, 16 and 18! 21 seems so much more grown up, so I like it might actually be time for me to grow up - still with absolutely no clue how taxes or a mortgage works, but thank god I'm kick ass at algebra...
